Sian has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry of which 14 have been dedicated to rare diseases. At PTC, she is responsible for patient engagement and advocacy strategy for Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (AP).

Sian leads the patient advocacy team to ensure that patient insights inform PTC’s programs and initiatives. Before joining PTC in 2015, Sian held positions in marketing and management, including head of the rare diseases business unit at Shire Ireland.

Sian holds a BA in marketing and prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry, she gained experience in several health care systems working as a radiographer/ultra-sonographer. Sian is based at the PTC International Office in Dublin, Ireland.
