SAM (Southern Cone, Andean Countries and Mexico)
Stephania is passionate about her work and enjoys working for the well-being of patients and caregivers. She previously worked with providers for emergency services to insurers, which generated in her a sense of urgency in unexpected situations, which would later contribute to her work with patients and caregivers.
Subsequently, Stephania led different Patient Support Programs, which educated about the health system, oriented in the solution of health system barriers, performed patient integration activities, for Mental Health, Oncology, Autoimmune and Orphan Diseases, which strengthened the trust and relationships of patients with the health system.
Since July 2022, Stephania is part of the Patient Relations team at PTC for the SAM region, she is working in support with PAGs for patients with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome and Hereditary Transthyretin Amyloidosis, seeking to raise awareness of the importance of these pathologies, reduce barriers to access and improve care, through different educational activities and continuous accompaniment to patients and caregivers.
Stephania believes that education and ongoing support to patients and their families through PAGs and Patient Support Programs, are essential to empower, generate wellness and enable them to overcome the challenges they face every day.
Stephania loves traveling, paragliding, watching movies and anime series. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially with her nieces and nephews Catalina and Santiago.
